Randy’s Spanish BBQ dry rub recipe

Inspired by Bobby Flay’s Spanish bbq dry rub. I boosted up the flavors a bit with the smoked paprika and fennel. This one is great on Salmon, Chicken, and Steaks. Our favorite is on Salmon, with a Chipotle Mojo de Ajo Sauce and sweet Langostinos. Check this rub out on a nice New York Strip with our homemade Steak Sauce.

6 tablespoons smoked sweet Spanish paprika **

2 tablespoons ground cumin

1 tablespoon Coleman’s ground mustard

5 teaspoons ground fennel seed

4 teaspoons coarse ground black pepper

1 tablespoon kosher salt.

Combine all and store in a air tight container.

I buy my Spanish Paprikas from La Tienda they are authentic and the best. Also check out their Spanish chorizos. Excellent!
