Not only is this Italian grilllng spice rub tasty , but it is loaded with healthy antioxidants. Try this rub on grilled pork, veal chops, seafood or chicken.
2 tablespoons dry rosemary
2 tablespoons oregano
2 tablespoons thyme
2 tablespoons marjoram
1 tablespoon whole fennel seeds
1 ½ tablespoon granulated garlic
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon course ground black pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Combine all. I like to rub the meats with this rub, then add a orange juiced and a bit of the orange zest too. If you can get blood oranges, those are really great too. Lemon works as well.
