Strip Steak Marinade

Looking for an excellent Strip Steak Marinade ? Here is a great steak marinade that is great not only on a New York Strip Steak, but also on Rib Eye Steak, Top Sirloins or Tri Tip! Some purists will say that you should not marinate good beef. I may consider whether or not to use a marinade on a dry aged strip steak, however sometimes you want something different and easy. This strip steak marinade is not overpowering and you will get great reviews from your guests.

Strip Steak Marinade

Enough for four big steaks or one Tri Tip

2 tablespoons chopped garlic

1 tablespoon Greek oregano

1 teaspoon thyme

1 teaspoon basil

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon course ground black pepper

1/3 cup lemon juice

1/3 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup olive oil

Combine all and marinate the beef for 2 to 4 hours.

Fire up your grill and enjoy! Grill to your desired temperature.

Try a little garlic butter on top!
